Job summary

Emergent Holdings is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to perform valuation, reporting and forecasting tasks under supervision. Responsibilities include routine analyses, actuarial exhibits, and using data to support pricing and financial planning.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Actuarial Science or related field, 0–1 year actuarial experience, and at least one ASA course credit; membership in the Actuarial Student Program is expected.

Qualifications

• The candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field.
• 0–1 year of actuarial experience is preferred.
• At least one ASA course credit and active Actuarial Student Program participation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tasks, basic analyses and reasonableness testing.
• Prepare actuarial exhibits and regular reports using corporate financial data.
• Learn and implement basic programming and maintain analytical programs with limited direction.
• Utilize data management and structure techniques with limited direction and oversight.
• Present completed work and implications to team members and internal clients with guidance.
• Participate in miscellaneous special projects to gain exposure to actuarial disciplines.
• Remain current on actuarial techniques and align with corporate objectives.
