Job summary

CRC Group in Alpharetta, GA is seeking an entry-level actuarial analyst to provide support in the development, analysis, and review of insurance products, reserving practices, and risk modeling.

Under supervision you will collect and validate data, assist with rate-making, reserve calculations, and prepare standard reports for internal and regulatory use, using Excel and tools like SAS, R, or Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Successful completion of at least one actuarial exam is preferred.
• 0–2 years of actuarial work experience or internship experience in the insurance industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with actuarial analysis tools such as SAS, R, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, validating, and analyzing data for actuarial models.
• Support rate-making activities and development of pricing structures.
• Perform reserve calculations and assist in financial projections.
• Prepare standard actuarial reports and documentation for internal and regulatory use.
• Utilize actuarial software and statistical tools to perform predictive modeling and scenario analysis.
• Collaborate with underwriters, finance, and product teams to support business decisions.
• Ensure work complies with applicable regulatory and industry standards.
