Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare in Williamston, NC is seeking an ACTT Substance Abuse Counselor (LCAS/CADC) for a full-time role within our community-based treatment team. You will deliver SUD services in clients' homes and local settings, conduct individual/group/family therapy, and manage clinical documentation and discharge planning.

Candidates must hold LCAS(A) or CADC, meet NC Qualified Professional standards, possess a NC driver’s license, and be able to travel locally.

Qualifications

• LCAS(A) or CADC is required.
• Must meet Qualified Professional (QP) status per NC regulations.
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license and ability to travel locally.
• Ability to obtain additional licensure within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver community-based SUD treatment in homes and local settings.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy.
• Complete LOCAs, pre-authorizations, and clinical documentation.
• Develop treatment plans, NCTOPPs, and discharge/aftercare plans.
• Collaborate with families, referral sources, and ACTT team members.
• Provide crisis support and participate in on-call rotation.
• Attend team meetings and ongoing trainings.

Join Pyramid Healthcare's Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) and provide life-changing support to individuals with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders - all within the community. This is not a desk job you'll meet clients where they are and help drive real recovery outcomes.
