Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous volunteer or work experience with geriatric, chronic mentally ill, and/or developmental disabilities populations.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience which Provides Necessary Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities May Be Considered.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must successfully pass caregiver and criminal background check.
• Must have valid Driver's License and meet Dodge County Driver Qualification Policy.

Responsibilities

• Provides purposeful and meaningful activities to residents by interacting with residents daily.
• Leads activities, delegates staff assisting with tasks, and guides program delivery.
• Assists with personal cares, including hygiene, ambulation, mobility, and transfers per care plan.
• Transports residents to activities and community events; plans meals and social events for the household.
• Maintains documentation of resident attendance and progress; reports observations to supervisor.
