Role Responsibilities:

1. Develop personalized care plans with clear, measurable goals, objectives, and interventions tailored to each patient's needs.
2. Contribute to treatment planning by providing feedback to nursing and program staff to facilitate therapeutic interventions.
3. Provide guidance to nursing staff regarding activity-related groups.
4. Participate in treatment team meetings, contributing to the setting and achievement of patient activity therapy goals.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Recreational, Music, Art Therapy, or a related field.
2. Licensure or certification according to state practice guidelines.
3. CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment.
4. Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, with preferred experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients.
