Job summary

Job Description

The Bus Activity Driver is responsible for safely transporting students and staff to and from school-sponsored activities, athletic events, field trips, and other approved events. The sub route driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school while following all traffic laws, district policies, and safety procedures. Conducts pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintains a safe and orderly environment on the bus, and communicates effectively with students, parents, school staff, and transportation personnel. Ensures timely route completion, responds appropriately to emergencies, and complies with all state and federal transportation regulations. Maintains required licenses, certifications, and training to operate a school bus safely and efficiently.
