Job summary

JCC Greater Boston is seeking energetic Activity Specialists to lead K-5 camp activities on school-break dates. You will guide sports, arts, drama, music, science and more, planning age-appropriate activities while ensuring safety and inclusion for every camper.

You’ll work with counselors to deliver fun, engaging experiences and support special events and transitions. Hourly pay starts at $18 per hour, with perks like health and fitness center access during employment and a vibrant in-person

Qualifications

• Genuine enjoyment of working with children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience planning and leading activities for youth preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and lead age-appropriate activities in your specialty area
• Ensure safety and well-being of campers during activities
• Create an inclusive, supportive camp environment
• Collaborate with counselors and camp leadership for a cohesive camper experience
• Maintain supplies and adapt activities for diverse campers
• Support camp-wide events and transitions as needed
