The Child Center of NY in New York seeks an Activity Specialist to design and facilitate engaging, project-based learning experiences for youth. The role includes collaborative planning with site leadership and providing guidance to participants while ensuring their safety.
Qualifications include being a current college student or graduate, having at least 2 years of relevant experience, and strong interpersonal skills. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 2 PM to 6 PM, potentially including some Saturdays.

The Activity Specialist is responsible for designing and facilitating high quality and engaging content-specific project-based learning experiences within a specific content area or specialization. The Activity Specialist will facilitate these learning experiences over the course of a semester, culminating in some type of interactive showcase by the participants. Activity Specialists will also attend all necessary meetings and trainings and work collaboratively with the program Director and site leadership team in order to ensure a successful program that meets the needs of our youth.
Monday – Friday | 2:00pm – 6:00pm
Some Saturdays may be required
