For its DYCD‑funded COMPASS middle school programs. Activity Specialists lead structured after‑school STEAM and enrichment activities, including dance, sports, art, theater, music, youth leadership projects, video, photography, etc. With guidance from the Content Specialist, Activity Specialists design and facilitate lessons that foster creativity, academic enrichment, and social‑emotional development. Activities will culminate in projects, showcases, or performances that highlight participant achievements.
Activity Specialists participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
Work Schedule: Various shifts available Monday - Friday, 2 to 5:30 PM, depending on the role
The Brooklyn College Community Partnership (BCCP), operating under the fiscal sponsorship of RFCUNY, is a community‑based organization that provides youth development programs connecting Brooklyn College with surrounding neighborhoods. Through after‑school and extracurricular initiatives in NYC Public Schools and at the Brooklyn College Art Lab (BCAL), BCCP offers holistic, interdisciplinary programming rooted in the principles of Positive Youth Development. Our activities empower students, spark creativity, and support their academic, social‑emotional, and developmental growth while strengthening connections among youth, families, and the broader community.
