The Team

The Solutions Operations division is seeking a professional with excellent interpersonal communication, organization, and time management skills to join our Global Special Services Team. S&P’s WSO (Wall Street Office) provides real-time access to our client’s portfolio and reporting insights for active asset management and deal administration, trading activities, cash and position level transparency and accurate P&L reporting. Underpinned by our WSO Administrator and WSO Agent product suites, WSO supports complex aspects of alternatives asset management in a scalable solution that increases operational efficiency while reducing risk. Our solutions are available as a hosted software or a fully outsourced managed service.

The Team

The Solutions Operations division is seeking a professional with excellent interpersonal communication, organization, and time management skills to join our Global Special Services Team. Responsibilities And Impact

This position requires a flexible individual who is analytical and possesses strong communication skills. The position involves dealing with various levels of management, both internal to S&P Global as well as external clients to the firm. The successful candidate must be organized, capable of addressing inquiries on a timely manner, and also possess acute problem-solving skills.

  • Responsible for efficient and accurate processing of daily activities for all asset types (Loans, Bonds, ABS, Equities, CDS)
  • Investigate discrepancies by reviewing source documentation and faxes from the agent bank
  • Review system-generated reports to ensure proper monitoring of the facilities and handle exception items
  • Interact with appropriate individuals/entities to gather all pertinent information/details in order to reflect date accurately in the system
  • Handle requests from different departments/clients within an hour turnaround
  • Complete special projects as assigned

Compensation/Benefits Information

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $51,289.00 to $80,000.00. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits. What We’re Looking For

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of work experience within the financial and/or syndicated loan industry
  • Private debt and broadly syndicated loan processing experience
  • Goal and action orientated, with ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to handle stressful customer situations with patience and poise
  • Eager to learn with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient PC skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work well in teams
  • Client services experience with exceptional skills in listening to clients, articulating ideas and complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to manage projects independently when required

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • WSO and/or LoanIQ processing experience
  • Strong process improvement skills
  • Syndicated loan specific cash reconciliation and/or position reconciliation
