Job summary

Healthcare Nursing Center in Chicago Ridge, IL, is seeking an Activity Director to lead our residents' emotional and social wellbeing by directing activity programs that meet their physical, emotional and psychosocial needs.

You will oversee all aspects of the Activity Department, participate in resident care conferences, and develop new programs to keep pace with industry trends. Requires high school diploma and previous Activity Aide/Director experience in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, NCCAP certification preferred.
• Prior Activity Aide and/or Activity Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
• One year of experience in a director or managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Direct activity programs to meet physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of residents.
• Oversee all aspects of the Activity Department.
• Participate in resident care conferences and develop new activity programs.

Education
