We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Activity Director to join our team and lead our recreational programs.

**Job Summary:**
The Activity Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive activity program that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents/clients. This role requires strong organizational and leadership skills, creativity, and a genuine desire to enhance the lives of others.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Design and implement an innovative activity program tailored to the interests and needs of residents/clients, promoting overall well-being.

- Plan and coordinate a diverse range of activities, including arts and crafts, games, outings, fitness sessions, and special events.
- Assess the individual needs and preferences of residents/clients to ensure the activity program remains relevant and enjoyable.
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and staff involved in activity planning and execution.
- Maintain accurate records of participation, plan budgets, and manage resources effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate services and create interdisciplinary opportunities.
- Communicate regularly with residents, families, and staff to gather feedback and assess program effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health regulations, and licensing requirements pertaining to recreational activities.
- Stay updated on best practices and trends in recreation and activity programming for the resident/client population.

- Provide transportation for our residents for certain outings and/or events, etc., by driving our bus - NO CDL REQUIRED.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Therapeutic Recreation, Gerontology, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in activity programming, recreational therapy, or a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with residents/clients, family members, and staff.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Creative thinking with the ability to design engaging and inclusive programs.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
