What You’ll Do:

• Design and lead daily, weekly, and monthly activities that promote wellness, creativity, and social connection
• Ability to evaluate current activities schedule, bring fresh and innovative ideas to stimulate and engage our residents on each unit and at different times of day
• Oversee activity staff and volunteers, ensuring high-quality, person-centered experiences
• Coordinate special events, community outings, and cultural celebrations
• Adapt programs to meet the physical, emotional, and cognitive needs of each resident
• Collaborate with nursing, rehab, and social work teams to support holistic care
• Track participation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Build relationships with residents, families, and local organizations
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience as a Manager, Supervisor, or Director in long-term care or rehabilitation (2+ years preferred)
• 2 years of experience in SNF or rehab facility for seniors
• Certification or eligibility as an Activity Director (NCCAP or similar)
• Strong leadership, creativity, and communication skills
• Comfortable working with individuals with varying abilities, including memory care
• Energetic, compassionate, and organized
• Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays for events
