The Residence at Gramercy, operated by CIMA Senior Living in Lincoln, NE, seeks an Activity Director to lead engaging activities for residents in a supportive setting. This full-time role offers everyday opportunities to enhance quality of life through events, outings, and meaningful interactions.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of assisted living experience preferred and strong skills in activity planning, communication, and resident engagement. Competitive pay and benefits available.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in engaging, hands-on activities, events, trips, and celebrations for residents.
• Create and distribute monthly calendars and newsletters; gather resident feedback via surveys; collaborate with other departments for meaningful daily programs.
• Facilitate activities and outings, scheduling transportation and assisting residents during trips.
• Engage with residents daily, providing companionship and encouragement during activities to foster belonging.
• Support marketing efforts and assist with tours and apartment rentals.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and participate in engaging, hands-on activities, events, trips, and celebrations within the assisted living setting, encouraging resident involvement and highlighting individual talents.
• Create and distribute monthly calendars and newsletters; gather resident feedback through surveys; collaborate closely with other departments to ensure a well-rounded, meaningful daily program.
• Personally facilitate activities and outings -including scheduling transportation, driving the community van or bus, and assisting residents directly during trips and events.
• Engage with one-on-one residents daily, providing companionship, encouragement, and assistance during activities to foster connection and a sense of belonging.
• Support marketing efforts, build community relationships, and occasionally assist with tours and apartment rentals
