CareCore at Montgomery is seeking a full-time Activity Director to lead and oversee the daily operations of our activity department. We are a 99-bed long-term care facility committed to providing quality, compassionate care to our residents.

Position Overview:

The Activity Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing a comprehensive activity program to meet the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of our residents. The right candidate will bring creativity, leadership, and a genuine passion for working with the elderly.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement monthly activity calendars and daily programming
• Coordinate group and individual activities, outings, and special events
• Oversee and schedule activity assistants and volunteers
• Maintain accurate documentation and resident participation records
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Communicate with residents and families to encourage engagement and satisfaction
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in activity programming in a long-term care or similar setting
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
