What You'll Do:

As theActivity Coordinator, you’ll design and lead engaging, person-centered activities that promote socialization, independence, and fun for individuals in our housing programs.

  • Develop and implement inclusive activities during evening and weekend hours, in the home and in the community, focusing on peer interaction and community inclusion.
  • Develop monthly activity calendars for housing teams.
  • Tailor activities to individual ISP goals and action steps.
  • Promote physical activity, creative expression, and social engagement.
  • Monitor and adjust programming to suit the needs and interests of consumers.
  • Coordinate transportation, schedules, and needed supplies for outings.
  • Collaborate with staff to create a dynamic and supportive environment.
  • Provide direct care to individuals with special needs 20-25 hours per week.
  • Ensuring a positive, innovative, person-centered environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree or 3-5 years work experience in a leadership role.
  • Comfortable leading both small group and one-on-one activities.
  • Creativity, energy, strong organization, and excellent communication (written and verbal).
  • Critical thinker, proactive, able to take initiative and follow tasks through completion.
  • Valid driver's license with less than 6 points.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background screening.
