Description

St. Michael’s Catholic Preparatory School is seeking an "as needed" bus driver to transport students to local and out-of-town events. This is a part-time, non-exempt hourly position reporting to the Director of Auxiliary Programming.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Drive students to local and out-of-town events, including athletic events, art competitions, retreats, and academic field trips as needed.
2. Routes will include trips to Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and various locations in and around Austin. Local trips will be a minimum of four (4) hours.
3. The schedule will depend on the events but is usually scheduled at least two (2) weeks in advance.

Requirements

Required Experience, Degree, and Skills:

• Valid CDL class B with P endorsement.
• At least one (1) verifiable year of experience operating a bus or comparable vehicle.
• Minimum age of 25 years for insurance purposes.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and drug test.
