Job description

Job Title: Activity Assistant / Life Enrichment Aide

The Wealshire, an assisted living community specializing in memory care located in Medina, is seeking a Full-Time Activity Assistant / Life Enrichment Aide.

Compensation: $20-22/hr, based on experience. Shift: 11:30 am - 8:00 pm.

Requirements:

• Ability to work every other weekend and holiday rotation.
• 64 hours per pay period.

Ideal Candidate: Outgoing, energetic, with musical or artistic abilities, and a desire to give back to the community.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience as an Activity Assistant (preferred).
• Experience in Long-Term Care and Memory Care (preferred).
• Musical or Artistic skills are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Life Enrichment with planning and leading resident activities of various sizes.
• Prepare and clean up activity spaces and materials.
• Conduct one-to-one programs for low-functioning residents.
• Maintain bird aviaries on Tuesdays and Saturdays or as directed.
• Keep supplies organized and assist with feeding residents during meals.
