As a Vitality Living Transportation Coordinator, you will impact lives as you:

1. Drive vehicles from community to social and other destinations according to assigned schedule
2. Practice safe driving techniques, adhere to posted speed limits, and follow state guidelines for motor vehicle operation at all times
3. Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip
4. Document all damages to company vehicles, including accidents, dents, natural wear and tear, etc.
5. Clean interior and exterior of vehicle after each outing and ensure adequate fuel levels
6. Participate in the planning, implementation, and promotion of activities to enhance the quality of life for all residents
7. Safely transport residents in community bus or another vehicle according to schedule
8. Facilitate engagement programs that promote a vibrant lifestyle; model appropriate and successful engagement of residents
9. Create engagement for residents based on their preferences, experiences, and lifelong interests as reported in the resident life journal
10. Coordinate outings, special events, and partnerships with the greater community to enhance overall engagement experience for residents
11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director, Engagement Director, or Memory Care Director

1. High school diploma or GED
2. Must be 21 years or older
3. Valid driver's license with clean record that meets company insurance standards
4. Commercial driver's license (CDL) designation may be required if driving vehicles with a capacity of more than 15 passengers
5. Working knowledge of all motor vehicle safety precautions and comply with safety measures
6. CPR/First Aid certification
