Arbors/Ivy Assisted Living Community in Massachusetts is seeking an Activity Assistant to warmly engage residents, escort them to activities, and foster a welcoming environment where everyone feels safe to participate.

You’ll support a variety of programs—arts, music, exercise, games, lectures, and outings—while maintaining dignity and encouraging 1:1 visits for those who prefer quieter engagement. A friendly, flexible, compassionate team player is essential.

Qualificações

• Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with elders (home care, assisted living, or skilled nursing).
• Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Engage, escort, and motivate residents to attend activities.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive environment where everyone feels safe to participate.
• Provide meaningful 1:1 visits for residents who prefer quieter engagement.
• Support programs including arts, music, exercise, games, spiritual gatherings, lectures, and outings.
• Assist residents respectfully and with dignity during activities.
• Drive the community van for trips and excursions (must meet RMV requirements).
• Observe engagement levels and communicate insights to the Activity Director.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
