Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties is hiring an Activities Assistant in Weslaco, Texas to help plan and implement weekly resort activities and events for guests of our communities. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service and coordinating all aspects of activities from inception to completion.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and 1–3 years of customer service experience, with a plus for activities experience. Strong organization and multitasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Experience in activities is a plus.
• Strong organizational, coordination and scheduling skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize by customer needs.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement weekly resort activities and events.
• Provide exceptional customer service for guests.
• Coordinate all aspects of resort activities from inception to completion.
• Plan, schedule, prepare, promote and execute events and activities.
• Conduct activities for various age groups.
• Develop supply lists for activities within budgets.

What you’ll do:

• The Activities Assistant helps to plan and implement weekly resort activities and events.
• Activity Assistants provides exceptional customer service and ensures our guests have enjoyable and memorable experiences at our resorts.
• Your job will include: Coordinate all aspects of resort activities from inception to completion.
• Plan, schedule, prepare, promote and successfully execute events and activities.
• Conduct appropriate and engaging activities for various age groups.
• Develop supply lists for upcoming activities and events within specified budgets.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with managers and other staff members.

Experience & skills you need:

• High school diploma or the equivalent experience.
• One to three years of experience in customer service and exceptional customer service skills.
• Activities experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, coordination and scheduling skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on customer needs.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
