Job summary

Marie’s Manor in Vienna, MO, is seeking an Activity Assistant to enhance residents’ quality of life through meaningful activities that promote socialization and well-being.

You will plan and lead a variety of programs, build relationships with residents, and work with the activities director to ensure compliant, engaging activities. The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and compassionate service to our residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Previous experience in activity direction or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities for residents, including arts/crafts, games, outings and social events.
• Build relationships with residents to tailor activities to preferences and abilities.
• Collaborate with the activities director to develop and implement activity programs that promote socialization and recreation.
• Administer activities in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policies.
• Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance and participation.

• Administer activities and programs in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as Marie's Manor policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and resident participation
