Job summary

Twilight Gardens is seeking an experienced Activity Assistant to run activities, create flyers, shop for supplies, and assist with calendar preparation. Hours vary and may include 9a-5p, 11a-7:30p, 10a-5p or 4p-8p, approximately 24-28 hours per week.

A valid driver's license is REQUIRED for potential transportation duties. Responsibilities include leading activity programs that support spiritual, cognitive, social and physical expression; coordinating with the team; and engaging with residents,

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent (must be at least 18)
• Prior experience as activity assistant
• Prior experience in Long-Term Care/Healthcare is preferred

• Assist with the organizing, planning and implementation of programs and opportunities that promote resident well-being
• Enthusiastically promote and communicate programs and events to residents

Twilight Gardens is seeking an experiencedActivity Assistant for our facility to perform activity functions as assigned. Hours vary but may include the hours of 9a-5, 11a-730p, 10a-5p or 4p-8p. Approx 24-28 HOURS PER WEEK.

Activities Assistant will be responsible for running activities, creating flyers and other materials, shopping for supplies, assisting with calendar preparation, and many other duties. We would also prefer the applicant be able to drive our transpotartion bus for activity outings, doctor appointments and discharges. Avalid drivers license is REQUIRED.

RESPONSIBILITIES OFActivity Assistant:

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS OFActivity Assistant:

High school graduate or equivalent (must be at least 18)

Prior experience as activity assistant

Prior experience in Long-Term Care/Healthcare is preferred
