Job summary

Camelot Care Center in Logansport, Indiana is seeking compassionate Activity Assistants to join our health care team and support the Activity Director in delivering engaging, resident-centered programs aligned with our facility's philosophy and goals.

You will encourage participation, maintain activity records, assist with seasonal activities and bulletin boards, complete initial activity interest assessments, and help integrate the activity department with other teams across the center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Indiana driver's license.
• Ability to read and write in English and communicate with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

Camelot Care Center is seeking Activity Assistants.

• To encourage residents to participate in meaningful activities.
• To maintain all records relating to activities and complete all paperwork on a timely basis.
• Assist with seasonal activities and bulletin boards.
• Complete initial activity interest assessment
• Assist the Activity Director in integrating the activity department with other departments

About you

The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:

• High School Graduate or its equivalent is preferred
• Must possess a valid Indiana driver’s license.
• Ability to read and write in English, ability to communicate with residents, families, personnel and support agencies.
• Must be capable of extended periods of standing and bending.
• Knowledge of arts, crafts, music and group activities.
