Overview

Reports to: Adult Day Services Director– Kelley Bauman, LSW

Schedule: Monday – Thursday: Part-time (between 8a-5p)

Tasks:

• Responsible in helping to create and implement planned, fulfilling activities for our participants.
• Provides individual care to and supervision of the participants.
• Responsible for safely transporting participants to and from the program, escorting adult day services participants to and from vehicles, providing support and supervision of participants.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate should have experience in providing personal care, activities and/or social/recreational programs.
• Must possess the ability to understand written and oral instructions.
• Must be a high school graduate or have successfully completed a GED.
• Must pass Criminal Background Check with no disqualifying offenses.
• Must possess a valid Ohio Driver's License with at least 2 years driving experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain driving privileges per The Salvation Army standards.
• Must be able to obtain a signed statement from a licensed physician stating the driver has no medical or physical condition that may impedesafe driving, passenger assistance, emergency treatment, or the health and welfare of the participant or general public.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screenings.
