Job summary

Meadow-Brook-Senior-Living in Fishers, IN is seeking an Activities Assistant to bring smiles, creativity, and connection to residents through engaging programs.

You will brainstorm, lead and facilitate activities, coordinate with families and vendors, and keep records of participation. Ideal candidates will be creative, organized, with strong interpersonal and computer skills, and a basic knowledge of CPR.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Activities Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:

• Brainstorming ideas for activities
• Facilitating activities that bring joy and purpose to our residents' lives
• Working with families to assist them in having a fulfilling visit with their loved one
• Attending or leading activities to ensure that events go smoothly
• Working with vendors to provide food, music, supplies and services for activities as needed
• Soliciting feedback from participants to identify what worked well and what areas of improvement exist
• Keeping detailed records of activities to track participation rates

Activities Assistant Qualifications and Skills:

• Creative thinking skills to continuously plan unique events
• Organizational skills to plan multiple events at once
