As an Activity Aide, you will assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs for our residents. • Observe and chart resident behavior, progress, and responses to services
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with other departments and staff members
• Prepare activity rooms and areas for scheduled programs
• Oversee residents during activities to promote their physical, social, and mental well-being
• Assist with daily activities, errands, and socialization initiatives
• Maintain confidentiality and dignity for all resident care information

Qualifications

• Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department is preferred
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday and cope with mental and emotional stress
