Arcadia Care Peoria Heights is seeking an Activity Aide to support planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational and social programs aligned with each resident's care plan. The role emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and delivering person-centered activities that enhance well-being.

You will help prepare spaces for activities, monitor participation, and document outcomes to ensure high-quality engagement and safety for residents with varying levels of ability.

Qualifications

• Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition & enthusiasm; ability to handle residents based on maturity level.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and charting daily activity programs.
• Prepare and clean activity rooms/areas for scheduled programs.
• Oversee residents’ engagement to promote physical, social, and mental well-being.
