  • Additional requirements: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training prior to assisting with restraining procedures and within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement activity services for the assigned program to support treatment goals.
  • Provide continuous patient care, observation, interaction, and role modeling under supervision of the Activity Therapy Director.
  • Engage with a variety of patients in a dynamic psychiatric/chemical dependency setting.

Intermountain Hospital is looking for a dynamic Activity Aide to work with a variety of patients! The Activity Aide is responsible for planning and implementing activity services for assigned program, which involves implementing treatment goals and providing continuous patient care, observation, interaction, and role modeling to patients under the direction of the Director of the Activity Therapy Department.

Shift: PRN

Qualifications

Education: High School graduate required, some college preferred.

Experience: One year of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, preferred.

Licensure: First Aid/CPR (we will train).

Additional Requirements: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training prior to assisting with a restraining procedure and within 90 days of employment (we will providing training).
