Job summary

Optalis Healthcare (Health & Rehabilitation Centers) seeks an activities assistant to plan and run groups for adults with medical disabilities. You will help with painting, music, games, and cooking, offering encouragement and ensuring safe, engaging sessions.

You will support setup and cleanup, maintain attendance records, and communicate with participants, families, and staff. Some administrative tasks may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and facilitating recreational activities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with participants, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize recreational activities for adults with medical disabilities
• Assist in the implementation of activities such as painting, music, playing games, and cooking
• Provide support and encouragement to participants during activities
• Assist with the setup and cleanup of activity areas
• Maintain accurate records of participant attendance and participation in activities
