Job summary

Harmony Palos Heights is seeking a part-time Activity Aide to enrich residents’ emotional and social wellbeing within our skilled nursing community. You will plan and direct activity programs that meet physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs, promoting engagement and comfort for residents.

Preference given to candidates with prior Activity Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior Activity Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support residents' emotional and social wellbeing by directing activity programs.
• Develop new activity programs to meet residents' physical, emotional and psychosocial needs.
• Participate in resident care and stay current with trends and industry standards.

As an Activity Aide you are responsible for our residents’ emotional and social wellbeing. Your work will help ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect atHarmony Palos Heightsby directing activity programs that meet the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of our residents, participating in resident care and developing new activity programs to keeping up with trends and industry standards. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior Activity Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
