Epic Healthcare is seeking an Activity Aide to support the Activities Director by leading social, recreational, and therapeutic programs for residents in long-term care, assisted living, or adult day facilities.
You will execute daily activities, transport residents, prepare event spaces, and document attendance while communicating changes to nursing staff. This is an on-site role requiring patient, creative, and reliable individuals.

An Activity Aide supports the Activities Director in leading social, recreational, and therapeutic programs for residents in long-term care, assisted living, or adult day facilities.
Program Execution: Lead daily group activities (arts and crafts, bingo, music, exercise, trivia) and conduct 1-on-1 bedside visits for room-bound residents.
Resident Transport: Safely assist residents to and from activity areas, events, and community outings.
Event Prep & Cleanup: Set up rooms, prepare supplies, and clean spaces before and after scheduled activities.
Documentation & Observation: Log resident attendance/participation and report changes in physical, emotional, or cognitive status to nursing staff.
Education & Age: High school diploma or GED required; minimum 18 years old.
Experience: 1+ years in senior living, long-term care, or recreational programming preferred (entry-level welcome with strong interpersonal skills).
Certifications: Valid CPR/First Aid certification (or obtain during onboarding); valid driver's license with clean record preferred for transport/outings.
Key Skills: Strong patience, creativity, enthusiasm, basic computer skills for logging attendance, and clear English communication.
Physical Demands: Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours, lift up to 35 lbs, and safely push residents in wheelchairs.
