Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking an Activity Aide to assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs aligned with each resident’s assessment and care plan. This role supports the Activities Department’s daily programs and quality assurance efforts.

The ideal candidate will have patience, a cheerful disposition, and a passion for promoting residents’ well-being through engaged activities, with flexible full-time/part-time opportunities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and charting for the daily activity programs & quality assurance for the Activities Department.
• Assist in preparing and cleaning up activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs.
• Assist in overseeing residents’ engagement in scheduled and unscheduled activities to promote physical, social, and mental well-being.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department.
