Job summary

Oneida Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Utica, NY is hiring an Activities Aide to plan and implement activities for Residents, focusing on individual interests. You will work directly with Residents on units, organizing supplies and supporting recreation staff.

The role requires a positive attitude, teamwork, and good computer skills; geriatric population experience is preferred. CNA certification can boost pay, though not required. Equal opportunity employer.

• Implement activities programs for Residents; focus on individual interests

• Work directly with Residents on units; without direct supervision

• Keep daily attendance and document residents’ participation in activities

• Assist residents to program location and return residents to appropriate units

• Be familiar with established emergency procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

• CNA license will earn higher rate but not required!
