Job summary

Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Butler, Pennsylvania is seeking an Activity Aide to join our care team. This position supports residents through planned recreational and therapeutic activities, fostering social engagement and a sense of community.

Shifts include 9am-5pm or 12:30pm-8:30pm with weekend and holiday availability required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be available to work every other weekend.
• Must be available to work some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning, coordination, and implementation of recreational and therapeutic activities for residents.
• Encourage socialization and participation in activities, promoting independence and a sense of community.
• Assist with supervising and conducting activities, including physical exercises, crafts, and games.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of activity participation and resident progress.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care.
