Job summary

Inglemoor Rehabilitation & Care Center in Livingston, NJ is seeking a part-time Activity Assistant to enhance the well-being of residents through engaging programs and meaningful interactions. You will help plan daily activities for short- and long-term residents, lead groups, and provide one-to-one engagement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing daily activity programs for short-term and long-term residents.
• Lead small and large group activities including music, exercise, games, arts & crafts, discussion groups, and special events.

• Support memory care programming with dementia-sensitive approaches.
• Document participation and resident responses according to regulatory standards.
• Assist with holiday celebrations, themed events, and community outings.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
