Job summary

Spring Arbor Senior Living is seeking an Activities & Wellness Assistant to support the Activities & Wellness Director in creating engaging programs that promote wellness, recreation, education, and spiritual growth for Assisted Living residents.

Responsibilities include planning and leading activities, maintaining participation records, decorating for holidays and events, and producing monthly calendars for residents and families, with weekend/evening availability required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years’ experience in a related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Understanding of the needs of seniors.
• Flexibility to assist with weekend and evening events.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead group and one-on-one activities for residents.
• Maintain records of resident participation in activities.
• Decorate the community for holidays and events; update bulletin boards.
• Create and distribute monthly activity calendars to residents, families, and prospects.
• Safely transport residents for scheduled activities and appointments.

Starting Wage: $18.06hr. or higher based on experience

Requirements:

• Available to work Monday - Friday & every other weekend
• High School diploma or equivalent required

Your Responsibilities:

Create Newsletters & Calendars: Design and distribute monthly activity calendars to residents, families, and prospects.
Transport Residents: Safely transport residents for scheduled activities and appointments.
