Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Edina, MN is seeking an Activities & Volunteer Coordinator to lead resident engagement and create meaningful connections across neighborhoods, including memory care. You’ll supervise volunteers, plan events, track engagement, and collaborate with Sales and Resident Care to welcome new residents.

The role requires 2+ years of supervisory experience in relevant settings, strong organization and communication skills, and a passion for enhancing residents’ quality of life.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leadership/supervisory experience in senior living, hospitality, recreation, or volunteer management.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational, communication, and event-planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate resident-centered engagement programs and events.
• Oversee activities, entertainment, and wellness programming across all neighborhoods, including memory care.
• Supervise team members, volunteers, and concierge staff.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and retain volunteers; build community partnerships.
• Track participation, satisfaction, and engagement metrics to improve programming.
• Manage engagement documentation, calendars, reporting, and technology platforms.
• Lead concierge operations, delivering exceptional experiences for residents, families, and visitors.
• Support budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and operational planning.
• Partner with Sales and Resident Care on move-ins and ongoing engagement.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and Sunrise quality standards.

Pay Range: 23.30 - 29.20
