Job summary

NDM Hospitality in Florida is seeking an Activities Supervisor to join the Fins Up Beach Club team at Margaritaville Resort Orlando. This role focuses on organizing daily activities, guest engagement, and leading a responsive activity team.

You will manage outdoor events, handle cash at Sundries Retail, and ensure safety and enjoyment for guests. Previous leadership experience in hospitality or related fields is preferred; CPR/First Aid certification may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months of leadership experience.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification within timely manner.
• Experience in recreational hospitality, cruise ships, summer camps or DJ is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Organize and host the daily activities as listed in the monthly activity calendar.
• Welcome and assist guests at the Fins Up Beach Club.
• Follow policies to ensure guest access, safety, and enjoyment for all guests/members.
• Ensure inventory needs are met.
• Conduct cash handling and point of sale at Sundries Retail.
• Dispatch guests down slides and monitor team member performance.
• Lead by example to inspire motivation and anticipation in team members.
• Maintain effective communication between all team members regarding club operations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for organizing and hosting the daily activities as listed in the monthly activity calendar.


• Responsible for welcoming and assisting guests as they enter the Fins Up Beach Club.


• Responsible for following policies and procedures as set forth to ensure guest/member access, safety, and enjoyment for all guests/members.


• Responsible for ensuring all inventory needs are met.


• Must be able to conduct cash handling and point of sale at Sundries Retail.


• Responsible for dispatching guests down slides and monitoring team member performance.


• Be a team leader and lead by example because it is important to inspire motivation and anticipation in all team members.


• It will be the responsibility of the Activity Host to maintain effective lines of communication between all team members regarding club operations and issues relating to the guests/members.

Personal Attributes

• Must be highly customer oriented and responsive with a high need for closure


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Able to work outdoors and different weather conditions


• Comfortable speaking into a microphone to large crowds.


• At least 3 to 6 months of leadership experience.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma preferred


• Experience in recreational hospitality, Cruise Ships, Summer Camps and or DJ


• Experience in a theme park setting.


• Must be able to pass CPR/First Aid certifications within in timely manner
