Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Monteagle Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking an Activities Aide to support residents with social, emotional, physical, and therapeutic activities. The role includes in-room activities, calendar planning, and helping organize events inside and outside the facility. Previous activities or healthcare experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities to meet the social, emotional, physical and other therapeutic needs of residents.
• Assist in initiation and promotion of activities within and outside the facility.
• Provide in-room activities for residents unable to attend daily events.
• Assist in creating an ongoing calendar of activities.
• Consistently meet State Standards for activity scheduling and documentation.
• Solicit community involvement when planning facility activities and events.
