Job summary

Rockcastle Health & Rehabilitation Center, part of Signature HealthCARE, seeks an Activities Assistant to support resident-centered activities in a 104-bed skilled nursing environment. Join a family-based organization focused on personalized care, spirituality, and quality of life initiatives.

You will help plan, initiate, and document activities, both inside and outside the facility, including in-room engagements for residents who cannot attend daily events. A CNA is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous Activities/Healthcare Experience preferred, but not required.
• CNA preferred, but not required.
• Skilled at working with individuals who have cognitive, physical or sensory disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities to meet social, emotional, physical and other therapeutic needs of residents.
• Assist in initiation and promotion of activities inside and outside the facility.
• Provide in-room activities for residents unable to attend daily events.
• Assist in creating an ongoing calendar of activities.
• Consistently meet State Standards for activity scheduling and documentation.
• Solicit community involvement when planning facility activities and events.

How you Will make a difference
