Job summary

Enchantment Resort is seeking an energetic Activities Support Associate to assist with the preparation, cleaning, transportation, organization, and maintenance of equipment for tours, rentals, and classes. You will interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner, support check-ins and program operations, and help keep all activity spaces clean, safe, and well-stocked.

The role requires physical ability to bend, stand, lift, and carry up to 40 pounds and fluency in reading and writing

Responsibilities

• Assist all Activities departments with preparation, cleaning, transportation, organization and maintenance of equipment and supplies for tours, rentals, classes and guest experiences.
• Interact with guests enthusiastically and professionally during activity check-in and program support.
• Prepare, maintain and organize equipment and spaces to ensure cleanliness, safety and readiness for guest use.
• Monitor facilities and report hazards, adhering to safety, sanitation and operating procedures.
• Support setup, breakdown, transportation and storage of materials for activities and events.

Basic Function:

Responsible for assisting all Activities departments including the Trail House, Artist Cottage, Games and Camp Coyote with the preparation, cleaning, transportation, organization, and maintenance of equipment and supplies for tours, rentals, classes, and guest experiences.

Work Performed:

1. Interact with guests in an enthusiastic, professional, and courteous manner while assisting with activity check-in, equipment distribution, and program support, and providing operational assistance across the Trail House, Artist Cottage, Games, Camp Coyote, and other Activities areas to create memorable guest experiences
2. Prepare, maintain, inspect, and organize activity equipment, supplies, and spaces to ensure all Activities areas are clean, stocked, safe, functional, and ready for guest use
3. Monitor activity facilities, storage areas, and guest-facing spaces to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational standards are met, promptly reporting actual or potential hazards and adhering to all department safety, sanitation, and operating procedures
4. Support the setup, breakdown, transportation, and storage of materials and equipment for activities, classes, camps, games, tours, and special events.
5. Other duties as assigned

Trail House vans

• Clean interior/exterior & detail as needed
• Fuel vehicles as needed
• Report to Ron Bennet about any van issues

Activities Golf Carts

• Wash and detail
• Check psi tires
• Charge battery if needed
• Report to Ron Bennet about any van issues or golf cart issues

Trail House Cleanliness

• Wash interior and exterior windows
• Wipe down and disinfect tables and counters
• Feed and water trail house reptiles. Clean its home.
• Notify landscaping if any weeds need to be pulled around the Trail House
• Broom any webs around the interior and exterior of building
• Sweep sidewalks around building
• Clean and rake firepit area
• Clean and rake bike staging area

Laundry

• Wash any dirty rags, towels and packs for Trail House & Artist Cottage
• Fold laundry and place in designated areas

Bike shop

• Outfit guests with appropriate siz mountain bikes, helmets, seat adjustment, and bottled water
• Report any existing or potential safety hazard with a red tag labeled with Guest Name & Guide Name
• Neatly organizing mountain bikes and e-bikes for upcoming tours
• Interact with guests in an enthusiastic, professional, and courteous manner

Artist Cottage

• Receipt’s need to be brought up to night audit at EOD

Tennis/Pickleball Courts & Games Area

• Straighten up activities’ lawn at EOD
• Cleaning up pickleball and tennis courts at EOD
• Straighten up games area at EOD

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, the ideal candidate must be self-motivated, organized, and possess excellent customer service skills. Must be able to read and write in English. Ability to bend, stand, lift, and carry 30-40 pounds.
