Job summary

Transforming Age is seeking a Lifestyle Coordinator to join our Resident Activities department in Bellevue, WA. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a pay rate of $25–$27 per hour, DOE, and a focus on engaging programs for residents.

Responsibilities include planning and coordinating lifestyle programs, attending events, and maintaining resident communications. Qualifications include a High School Diploma, 1–3 years of related experience, and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written in English).
• Valid First Aid and/or CPR certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Valid Washington State Food Handler's card or willingness to obtain.
• Background check and fingerprinting.
• TB 2-Step required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and conduct lifestyle programs for residents.
• Attend community functions and coordinate events from start to finish.
• Plan programs for holidays and special events.
• Implement the calendar of events as directed by the Director/Coordinator.
• Distribute the community newsletter.
• Provide ongoing communication with residents and families as needed.
• Assist Manager in leadership of wellness program.
• Interact with residents, guests and staff with hospitality.
• Protect resident privacy in communications (oral and written).
• Promote Transforming Age mission, vision and values; perform other duties as assigned.

• Assists in planning, scheduling and conducting lifestyle programs that provide physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual opportunities for the residents.
• Attends all community planned functions and coordinates event from beginning to end including setup, facilitation and breakdown for the event.
• Helps plan appropriate programs for holidays and special events.
• Implements the calendar of events as scheduled by the Director/Coordinator.
• Helps distribute community newsletter.
• Provides ongoing communication with residents and, as necessary, family members.
• Assists Manager in leadership of wellness program.
• Interacts with residents, guests and staff in an atmosphere of hospitality.
• Protects the privacy of the resident when communication oral and written information.
• Promotes the Mission, Vision, and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility; Performs other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written in English) and the ability to work with staff and external constituents.
• Valid First Aid and/or CPR certificate required or be willing to obtain.
• Valid Washington State Food Handler's card required or be willing to obtain.
• Completion of a background screen and fingerprinting.
• TB 2-Step also required.
