Job summary

Shell Point Retirement Community is seeking a full-time Activities Leader to assist in planning and implementing resident activities within our skilled nursing facility. You will help design person-centered activity programming, including one-to-one interventions, and maintain documentation of participation and attendance.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, patient, and works well with the elderly population.

Qualifications

• Must be outgoing, patient, with a positive attitude and able to work well with the elderly population.
• Must have computer skills.
• Previous activities experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing resident activities in the skilled nursing facility.
• Develop and implement person-specific activity programs, including one-to-one interventions.
• Document participation/attendance records and evaluate residents' activity plans.
• Complete assessments as indicated per the care plan schedule.
