Activities Director, Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist (CTRS)

Qualifications
  • Previous activities experience in a long-term care setting (5-10 years preferred)
  • Activities certification (CTRS) and college degree preferred
  • Prior management experience required
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record (may require driving)
Job Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, coordinate, and evaluate resident-centered activities
  • Involve residents in planning and advocate for their needs and interests
  • Participate in meetings (resident council, family council, department meetings)
  • Maintain activity records and reports
  • Participate in fundraising events
  • Foster community relationships through outings and volunteer activities
  • Perform disciplinary actions as needed
