Solaris HealthCare College Park in Orlando seeks an Activities Coordinator to plan, organize, and implement a therapeutic activities program that meets residents' social, educational, and physical needs in line with care plans and regulatory standards.
You will develop recreational services, coordinate volunteers, schedule monthly calendars, collaborate with other departments, and support resident rights and wellbeing; experience in healthcare settings preferred.

The primary purpose of your job position is to plan, organize, and implement a program of therapeutic activities designed to meet the social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational and physical needs and interests of residents in accordance with the comprehensive resident care plan, and in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, Solaris HealthCare’s established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Administrator.
To be qualified, must meet one of the following criteria:
Two years of experience conducting social/recreational programs within the past five years, one of which was full-time in a patient activities program in a health care setting is preferred.
