Job summary

Ballhealth in Mobile, AL seeks an Activity Director to plan and execute resident activity programs, lead group activities, and assist residents to events within Providence Park Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center. The candidate should have supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for elderly care.

Responsibilities include coordinating programs, addressing residents' social, emotional, and spiritual needs, and ensuring confidentiality and respectful treatment of residents

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with HS diploma or GED
• Minimum of one year work experience in related field
• Previous supervisory capacity
• Must communicate effectively in writing and verbally
• Must speak and understand English
• Must have a positive attitude toward the elderly and respect resident confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, implement and execute all activity programs for residents
• Lead group activities and assist residents to and from activities
• Ensure residents' spiritual, emotional, recreational and social needs are met
• Maintain resident confidentiality and treat residents with kindness, dignity and respect
• Operate in a skilled nursing facility setting with a patient-centered approach

The Director will plan, coordinate, implement and execute all activity programs for all residents in the facility. Minimum Qualifications:
