Prosper at Wickliffe is searching for a motivated individual to help carry out our core values of making life fun, making the community a home, and delivering purpose to everyone. The Memory Care Activities Coordinator plays a vital role in embodying these values.

The Activities Coordinator provides fun and purpose to our residents in memory care daily. The role involves planning, organizing, developing, implementing, and evaluating recreational and social activities within the community. A key responsibility is maintaining a diverse schedule of activities that stimulate the mind, body, and spirit of residents. Our programming aims to bring joy and purpose to residents' lives. We seek someone with a positive, proactive attitude who can serve both residents and team members effectively.

Other responsibilities include:

  1. Role Model: Strive to provide the highest quality of care with kindness and compassion, respecting residents' dignity.
  2. Good Will Ambassador: Act as liaison among staff, residents, families, and the community to foster positive relations and represent Prosper well.
  3. Program Planning: Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing individual and group activities based on residents' interests and needs.
  4. Personalized Activities: Organize recreational and social activities for residents who prefer one-on-one engagement or are unable to leave their apartments.
  5. Event Facilitation: Plan and lead evening and weekend activities.
  6. Training and Education: Participate in in-service training sessions as required.
  7. Team Collaboration: Encourage and support caregivers and volunteers in facilitating activities.
  8. Supply Management: Maintain necessary materials for activity programs.
  9. Resident Safety: Ensure the safety of residents under supervision.
  10. Resident Rights: Uphold policies respecting residents' rights at all times.
