Job summary

Country Meadows Retirement Communities is seeking an Activities Coordinator to work closely with Assisted Living residents, crafting experiences and encouraging participation across the community.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a proactive leadership style, strong communication, and the ability to motivate residents. Compensation starts at $19/hour with opportunities for advancement, plus robust benefits and growth support.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in group socialization or recreational programs is preferred but not required.
• Leadership style should be energetic, personable, positive, enthusiastic, creative and imaginative.
• Ability to communicate intentions and directions to residents and co-workers; be an active listener/empathetic.
• Strong motivational skills to positively influence resident participation.
• Valid driver’s license with no major violations in the past three years.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this role.

• Generate ideas for new and favorite experiences.
• Drive residents’ interest in a dynamic lifestyle to promote a sense of pride and purpose.
• Venture out with residents to theaters, museums, sporting events, restaurants, special destinations and more.
• Team up with the Activities Coordinator and/or Associate in planning on- and offsite events and activities.
• Promote a positive, enthusiastic environment to motivate resident engagement.

Being an Activities Coordinator allows you to work very closing with our Assisted Living residents. You will create experiences with all members of our community and encourage residents to participate. We are seeking individuals who value the company of older adults, lead with a big picture mentality and appreciate the arts and wellness.

• Memory Care - Full Time 9am-5pm
• Full time 8:30am-4:30pm (includes one 11am-7pm shift every other week)
