Job summary

Vail Resorts in Lewisberry, PA is hiring for winter seasonal roles to help guests enjoy mountain adventures. You’ll work outdoors in all weather, assist guests with activities, verify tickets, and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment.

Positions run for the 2026/2027 winter season with both full-time and part-time hours. Perks include free passes, employee discounts, and training opportunities to grow with the team.

Qualifications

  • You will be working outdoors in all weather conditions for long periods.
  • Stand for long periods.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Converse clearly with a variety of guests.
  • Background check is required.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Flexible employee who supports multiple departments.
  • Roles may include Mountain Activities, Retail Rental, Food & Beverage Support, Ticket sales, Lift Operations, Base Area Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Have fun and create experiences for guests, colleagues, and ourselves.
  • Be safe and provide a safe experience for guests and coworkers.
  • Assist guests with mountain activities and navigate experiences.
  • Verify tickets and answer related questions.
  • Be a positive ambassador for Vail Resorts and our service quality.
  • Help keep the mountain clean and inviting.
  • Guide guests of varying experience levels and backgrounds.
  • Stay flexible and work across multiple departments as needed.

Job Requirements
  • Be prepared: You will be working outdoors in all weather conditions forlong periodsof time.
  • Be sturdy: You may need to stand forlong periodsof time.
  • Be nimble: You may be repeatedly twisting, turning, pulling, pushing, bending, squatting, lifting (up to 50 lbs.) throughout each day.
  • Be friendly:You’llneed to converse clearly and comfortably with a variety of guests of varying backgrounds, ability levels and age groups.
  • Background checkrequired.
  • Be reliable: You may need to work unsupervised occasionally or be a strong part of a fun team.You must have reliable transportation (in varying weather conditions) to and from work, and you must be to work on time as scheduledtobe a good teammate.
  • A Mountain Activities Attendant team member is a flexible employee who often works across multiple departments and in various roles to support the one resort mentality which could include one of the following:
  • Mountain Activities
  • Retail Rental operations
  • Food and Beverage Support
  • Ticket sales or scanning
  • Lift Operations
  • Base Area Operations

The expected pay range is$20.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

We follow all federal, state, and local laws including restrictions on child/minor labor. Minors hired into this position will not be asked or permitted to engage in any activities restricted to adult workers.
